We built Unik Hands to make hiring domestic staff safer for households and fairer for the people they employ.
Why we started
In Nigeria, most households find domestic staff through word of mouth, and most workers find jobs the same way. When it goes wrong, neither side has much to fall back on: no verified identity, no reachable guarantor, no record of what was agreed or paid.
Unik Hands puts those basics in one place. Staff verify their identity, address and guarantors once. Employers verify too, post jobs and choose from verified applicants. Salaries, queries and the end of a job are all recorded in the app.
